Fireline G3 makes a center console alum. boat they have them in 16ft
thru 20ft. their website is www.g3boats.com they are called a Gator Tough Series/Delux John.

I work at the university and we use WeldCraft boats and these hulls are really beaten due to the lack of experience of the operators. We use these hulls to teach boat handling skills classes and also have the students doing their research use them. They really take a beating and keep coming back for more. You can deal with Richard at Portland Marine and they can get one anyway you want it set up and he will guide you through your selection process. Hope to have helped.

weld-craft portland marine i have one.100 ga. all welded.9 years in this chop and 0 cracks or defects.

Aluminum boats make way more noise thus scaring the fish off. Plus they get hot in direct sunlight....just a couple of drawbacks.

I think the solution to that would be to paint them with white durabak.

Its that a good insulater? where can you get it at?
Im looking at getting my 2nd boat in a yr or so & was wieghing the options on Alu vs fiberglass.
