Headed out around 3pm picked up a LB fresh dead shrimp at the Bucket place then launched at Clem's, that parking lot is AWWWWFUL! After my last ecounter with a sand bar I went to West Marine and got this nifty hand held GPS but being the Non-instruction reader I am using it was like getting a new Cell phone, confusing, but I'm sure it will get easier as I play with it some more! LOL... So, I headed to D/M's and I took the safe way in and encountered the usual amount of Drum but they were suprisingly skiddish and would stay just far enough away to keep me from positioning my free lined shrimp in front of their noses but I managed to get ONE 24" Drummy! Several drifts aided by the GPS made it a no brainer to follow the previuos routes so I'm sold on this thing! I scooted around Humble channel but hardly got any bites and by that time it was 5:00 and the sun was going down fast, really fast! On the way home I called the wife and she wasn't getting home till much later so I took care of all the boat washings and headed to Laguna Reef Restaurant where I had the two fillets cooked up BLACKENED style and it was UHMM-UHMM GOOD! The bill for blackening the fish, Fries, tea and some Hush puppies came out to 15 or so bucks, their butter sauce was so good I couldn't believe my taste buds too! If I could add one thing I would like to make it a bit more spicy by adding Jabaneros J/K maybe Jalapenos to the dish, next time! I had enough to make a TO-GO plate and will manage to put it down between the Turkey sandwiches, LOL!!! Happy Thanksgiving eveyone!

I wonder if this is the last gadget I have to buy?!

Is the "last gadget" a real thing? I've only heard about it in folk stories.

I wish I could get there. Had a chance this weekend but the wind reports look brutal. Guess I'm going hunting.
