Hey guys I caught a Spanish mac yesterday which is the first after many years. Needless to say I have no recipes to try out on the grill. So my question is what are some of your recipes for grillin Spanish macs up?

Just a little Tony's and maybe olive oil or butter on top and grill with skin side down. Use foil if you need to. Very Happy

Skip the grill and eat them raw. They make excellent sashimi.

That does sound good. I grilled em up last night and they turned out great! I do want to try my hand at making some sushi and sashimi just not sure how to go about it. I will have to do some reading before I try it so I don't get myself sick but I think its in the near future, maybe next time I catch some fish worth trying it on. Is there any special way to fillet the for sashimi or just grab a chunk and start eating?

As long as your not trying puffer and your catch is well taken care of, I don't think you have to worry about getting sick. Just eat the flesh (no organs) and cut the pieces to size depending on your preference. And don't forget the wasabi and soy.
