Has anyone attempted to see if WalMart would price match HEB's $2.97 / lb. New York Strip Steak this week?

I called the Bluff Super WalMart this morning and the manager of the meat market told me they were not matching the price due to the cost differential between THEIR regular price and HEB's sale price.

So I guess their guarantee price matching policy is a pick and choose at their discretion?? Confused
