Well got sum rain,finally! Stayed in and did HoneyDo's...
Decided if I cant fish then I'll cook!
If anyone wants specifics on the recipe PM me!

Great looking chile rellenos!
Some regional variations I've run across:
-fried egg served on top
-chile fried "naked" and crepe-like fried batter folded on top
I prefer your way toyak.  |

Yes, that's my mom's recipe, thx!
But, if you ever get the chance try the ones at Chuy's restaurant in San Antonio or Austin, also try Portlands restaurant called Pepitos, theirs has the shredded beef, yumm! _________________ I wasn't born in the Bluff but I got here as fast as I could! |

I can attest to Peppito's version of a relleno being outstanding plus it is as big around as a baseball bat... Big enough for two.Of course the restaurant was a BBQ place before Pepitos and they had some killer BBq also.....
