This is just the opinion of a non-native Corpus Christi resident.
I am not saying YOU do this...but I have seen enough to believe a fairly good percentage of the general population does this on a regular basis. _________________ ...a bad day fishing still beats yardwork. |

Fish guts go to crabs and pelicans. Many of my fish bones and heads get frozen for making fish stock for soup. I love Boulliabase and Cioppino. YUM YUM YUM.
"WOW!!!! How many personalities did the Dr. say you had?? You really need to start taking your meds."
I have bad PTSD (Nam, accident, and jungles - yuch - I sure do hate spiders and snakes) and VA gives me plenty of head meds. Maybe Murf can borrow some. |

Thanks everyone for having my back,First i never leave trash behind
i carry a trash bag with me all the time. And no big deal im still the same
person if i can help you out in something ill be glad to help.It is sad to see so much trash left behind in some places,IT all can be solved by taking a trash bag with you when you go fishing. Not much to ask for.Might be busy this week to fish ,But hoping to target some flounder next week.
See you on the water. _________________ ''ONE LAST CAST''

| Fished packery with artificials Wednesday morning. Watched two reds and one nice flounder brought in. Caught one undersized flounder I let go and a little skipjack. Was amazed at the amount of trash lying around. So two older folks grab a broken lawn chair out of the water off the sand bar. It is a sad reflection of the people that utilize the place, the amount of trash there. |

I was there recently for a few hours, towards the end, across from the Dr's house! I could see the MASSES of people fishing towards the bridge. Good to hear that Flatty's are appearing it wont be long before they start their move too! This (flounder-run) is the only time I wade the packery and brave the Masses, I guess you can say if you can't beat em' join em'! lol..
Coincidentely, I didnt get any REDS but a real nice guy pulled up and beached his boat about 50yds from me and he started nailing HUGE reds, one after the other, even got a nice flatty too! We got to talking and compared tackle, rigs, and bait, We were essentially using the same set-up! JUST MY LUCK I GUESS! _________________ I wasn't born in the Bluff but I got here as fast as I could! |
