It turns out that the 2 George's resturant was taking people's credit cards and charging thousands of dollars and haulin a.... back to Costa Rica. If you went last weekend check your accounts.

So was it everybody at the restaraunt as in the owner was in charge of the operation, or isolated to one waiter/waitress in particular...that can make a big difference in how the story is told.

According to the news on KIII & KSIX the business is closed down now
with a couple of signs on the door, one that said the business is closed to refinish the floors and the other sign said the business has been closed because the owner/operator hasn't paid the rent.

The reporter also said that the 2nd sign said the owners/operators were evicted.

oldest scam in the book. Used to happen at lots of restaurants I used to work at years ago - like gunbuyer said the waiters are usually at fault. Very easy to trace back to who was at fault - and I have seen people go to jail for it.

Geez, that's horrible! I dought it was the owners.... I feel bad now that I put that 50% off post, I hope nobody on here was affected for the people that were affected I hope justice is served!

Went there last saturday, It SUCKED, and I have been keeping up with my Credit Card Statement, I should have listened to my wife when she said it look like it was shaddy!!!!

I had some good meals at two goerges in the past. But havnt gone anytime recently.

Went there 4 or 5 months back with my wife walked in ....ordered drinks.....took a look at the menu.....paid for my drinks in cash and left...i did not like the place at all nor the menu selection. Glad i paid in cash im not sure how long this has been going on.

One more good reason to have LIFELOCK. I sleep comfortable at night. Neither LifeLock nor Navy Federal Credit Union would allow this crap to happen.
