Want to buy a gun. My son in NM has one but can only sell long guns to in state. Found a pistol I want but is $110 cheaper on line than at Academy.

I got a buddy out in annaville that has a gun shop and ffl. His name is Billy Clark. He's at the triangle gun shop. If you call him, tell him Larry Henley gave you his info. Known him for 25 years. He'll do you right.

Modern Pawn (more of a gun store than a pawn shop, regardless of its name) used to do it. I assume they still do. Over by Lowes. While you are there/on the phone, tell them the gun and the price you found it for, and they may match it or at least come close enough to where you want to buy it from them instead of messing with the ffl transfer business. That's what happened to me at least. I think I ended up out the door for about 2% more than what it would have took online. Nice to keep it local and also be able to open up the box and inspect/confirm the gun before you hand over the cash.
