Just looking at the location that low is sitting at and considering the time of the year, there is a possibility of more that just some rain.

Just have to wait and see if it will be able to penetrate the dome of hot dry air that has built up over Texas.

I was watching Don on the radar and about the time the center got about 20 miles off the coast, the hot dry air just gobbled it up and it disappeared entirely in a few hours.

Looked like Pacman ate it.

At least it's something to keep an eye on for the days to come.

Lets name it Harvey and pray for the best - which may not be the best for you all on the coast. We need the rain - badly!!

In the Kerrville area the Upper Trinity Aquifer has gone dry. The middle Trinity is getting spotty to low.

Please Heavenly Father BRING US RAIN.

Nooo FoldCat. No more guy names. It has to be a woman's name- just not a redhead.

I'm also praying for a good few days of rain here, there, & in the Hill Country (ok. everywhere that needs it), but nothing hardcore.

Lucky. I watched it rain while fishing the lake in my neighborhood in Leander just wishing it would dump a foot of rain.

Wells are drying up around here pretty fast. Ours is pumping about 20 gallons a day it seems and the livestock drink 25 of it! LOL! We are in bad bad need of rain.

Yes, the need for the rain vs. the destruction at the coast... what a deal.

What's the next name? HONEY ????
