What the Hell is going on?!  
Latest plans for Isla Blanca Park, it looks like the developers have big plans for the Park. The details can be found at http://www.surfrider.org/southtexas/
Just a side note- This very spot is known worldwide as the best surf spot in Texas. It's Mecca for Texas surfers and the only spot south of the Mansfield jettie. Plus the fishing on the Padre jettie is 'buenisimo'. |

And the Caller-Times would have people believe that no one is upset about loosing access in South Padre.

i can speak from experience that these are without a doubt some of the best waves in texas, its a shame to see something like this happening on both regions of the island
