The action continues to be there, but it has slowed a little bit.
A large (at least for me - 5' or 6') Bull shark was caught about sundown yesterday.
Trout and Red being caught but not as well as last week.
Bite is in the early morning hours like 3 to sunrise. |

| Fished the Port A jetty last weekend, fished at the end got there about 8am set up a slide line and then proceeded to have several boat fisherman stacked up right on top of my slideline and one eventually snagged my weight line, I should of reeled it in and spooled his trout rod but I know I dont own the ocean and I was only going to lose an old spider weight and the fisherman apeared to have an expensive hard lure on so I cut the line and let them have it. So after that dissapointment I picked up the small rods and started chunking lures caught 2 nice smacks and saw plenty of fish also saw a few large tarpon rolling. The boat anglers landed several slot reds with what I believe was drifted large croakers. Some folks down the jetty from me landed a huge (45" plus) bull red on a large live pin perch. The water was about a 6 or 7 on clarity and had a slight chop to it overall decent fishing conditions with a ton of bait and predators working the water. |
