I took my girl to see her country idol last night, Willie, for a birthday gift and there we where in the seated section behind a line of folks sporting their 10 gallon hats on their half pint heads at an angle that you'd think they were hanging on a wall but of course none of the sides were turned up and no one had the common courtesy to take it off so the ten rows behind them could see anything...this pissed me off so much but I got it to where my woman could see good and that's all that mattered in the end...

The thing that irritated me the most is that these "head to toe" cowboys weren't even tapping their toes to Willie singing Hanks Jambalaya on the Bayou when I was about to make a scene lol...

feels good to rant, hopefully someone feels the same

Out here in west Texas it happens at the football games, basketball games, in fact, the only place I haven't seen it yet is in church! Very Happy

Ironic that men that pride themselves on their "country" manners out here can't take their hats off indoors anymore.

Remember Bun Phillips would take off his hat in the Astrodome. Mom's would teach sons to take off their hats indoors. I can see maybe in a country bar so maybe that's what these guys thought that they might be dancing or not country enough if they took their hats off.
