I started using Shur's this year. After many year trying to find a taxidermy that did what they said they would. I've used guys here in CC,Kerrville,Refugio and El Campo they all let me down and lied to me.

The last guy in REFUGIO Ron williams had my antelope, white tail buck for 2 years and did not do any thing beside keep my deposit not even skin them off the heads and told me every lie in the book. Sounded like a kid with home work.

So I picked them up from the guy in Refugio and took them to Shur's. with my daughters drop tine buck she shoot this year 3 animals to mount. Troy told me he would have them done as fast as he could, well i had been told this story a many time before and all i could do was hope. To my surprise about three months later i get a call saying one of my white tail was done. When i get there it I was even more surprised to see my other two animals drying out and all most finished. Well here i set 6 months later from word go with Shur's with every thing i took him 3 S-mounts and a rug i took him about 3 weeks ago all finished and back at home.

I was really happy with the way Troy ( SHUR'S ) does business. He's a great guy and one of the first Taxidermy's that i have used that did what he said he would and faster than he said he would.
He will be getting all my family's mount and all of my clients and most of my friends as long as he does business this way.

He's just around the corner from me. Maybe I will see if he'd like to advertise. It is always nice to get good honest folks who do what they say they are going to do.

Good referral. Hopefully, I'll need of his services this Fall. Thanks for the info. Up to now, I've taken all my things to a guy up near Temple, Texas. Does great work, but it's a long way to go.

Troy Shur is the Real Deal, he lived up to his word on the 1st deer I took him, Now I am waiting for my daughters deer she shot this year!!

yep, he does good work. I have a deer right there right now I'm waiting on. Shot it in december, and it should be done around july.

I think troy always tries to get mounts done for the kiddos quickly, which is really cool.

He does great work on Ducks also
