Yesterday evening fishing was incredible! I kayaked to some different areas in the middle of nueces bay that I have been wanting to check out and was rewarded with tons of hungry trout, a few small reds, and a lonely flounder. Gotta love the nueces!

I only fished Nueces bay one time. Years ago when I was teaching in Taft I stopped on my way home and waded the west side of the bridge. Didn't catch anything.
