Does anyone have any recommendations for outdoor patio furniture? Particularly interested in the opinions of the Coastal locals.
Thanks,

Might surprise you, but Sam's Club carries some very good, comfy, durable and affordable outdoor furniture. Selection normally not too bad. _________________

I also would not trust a .uk site especially because of cost issues. What type of furniture are you looking to purchase? My wife and I recently had our patio redone so we bought all new furniture. Family leisure's website offers dining sets, bar table sets, and things like wicker furniture. Check out their outdoor patio furniture to hopefully find what suits you! Hope that helps!

I've had several pieces of polywood that have lasted very well. Colors stay sharp, and the hardware is all stainless steel. There are several distributors on line at varying prices (not cheap).

While my climate is more moderate, I've had fabulous success with my wicker patio furniture. We used to have aluminum, but it was from a cruddy no name company (learned from that one- go with quality!) but since we've been very happy with the wicker. We got ours from http://www.patioandhomefurniture.com/, and I can say it was a great experience all around. Good luck and enjoy some serious lounge time!

Of course it all depends on what you're buying. I've had terrible experience with some cheap plastic stuff, but once I went for the quality pieces, I've never turned back! The wicker (which I thought was the least durable) has lasted years, and I can imagine the wrought iron, wood and cast aluminum patio furniture is even more durable.
Two thumbs up in my book |

| For patio sets, I would recommend going with something durable like aluminum or cast iron. The aluminum doesn't require much maintenance at all, but the iron is a lot more sturdy. Either way, these will last longer than your standard plastic stuff and make the area look nicer. Hope this helps! |

I would roll with wicker patio furniture. It's very comfy with a deep seating pillow.
Old wicker would have problems with salt water in the air, but today's wicker is made from synthetic materials that will stand up to the salty gulf air...
Here's a great source for wicker patio furniture (they offer free shipping across the US): http://www.familyleisure.com/Casual-Patio-Furniture/Wicker-.
More general reading on wicker here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wicker
Happy hunting! |

| One may indeed purchase outdoor patio furniture from a variety of sources/outlets. However, as with most things, you really "get what you pay for" when it comes to purchasing patio furniture. That being said, it sounds as if the furniture may be exposed to "salt" air. Consequently, that would definitely be a factor in the selection of the type of furniture (e.g. plastic, metal, etc.). I would also think other factors would include whether the furniture would be exposed to prolonged sunlight as well as the length of time you hope to own the furniture. |

No doubt patio furniture is one of the best furniture that everyone demands. My suggestion you better try this Garden Furniture vendor and read following guides first:
