Hey folks,

So I am planning on being there this weekend. Been looking at some fishing reports throughout the forum. It looks good. I might be hitting the packery channel on the north or south jetty. Might also be hitting up some of the flats behind mustang island.

Any lure recommendations? bait recommendations? I will most likely be fishing from the surf. Also any in paticular I should hit up? If anyone wants to meet me up and do some fishing let me know.

Thanks as always!
Bryan

Fished the flats behind Mustang Island on Saturday from noon till 5:30. Not even one bite. Saw many other fishermen come and go, none leaving with any fish. Boats came and went pretty quick. Used live and dead shrimp, gulps, and DOA's. On the bright side, did catch a tan.
