My husband and I walked the south port a jetties on sunday the 15th and watched a guy reel in three different oversized reds. One 47" and two 48". all catch and release. I don't know what they had on their stringer but I do know they were having a great time. Another guy was spearfishing and had several nice sheepshead. Tons of mullet and something big was out there chasing them. Really got us excited about getting out there ourselves.

Yeah the jetty's are sweet at times. My dad one time pulled in a 48in black drum. Sucker was huge! I may go out there and may not. I would hate to lose most of my tackle.

On the north jetties, there is a dead cow in the rocks. Must have tripped or something. Stinks!

While I do not look forward to the carcass or the smell, I do look forward to the place of her demise.
I wonder how long it takes a coast to eat a cow?
Only one way to find out.
