If I am right I must have the following equipment on Board a 12 1/2 foot inflatable boat during the day to be legal (with O/B Motor):

Life Jacket for each passenger plus a throw ring
Sound Making Device (Whistle or Horn)
Fire Extinguisher (Boat does not have an enclosed space under floor)
Boat Registration Card

Add running lights and 360/stern light for night.

Also I will have both a sea anchor and a regular anchor, and a stake out stick.

ANYTHING ELSE??

There can be a difference in State and Federal requirements depending on the water your in.
Don't forget the ICW is Federal water.

All the water inside the National Seashore is Federal waters. If I'm not mistaken there is some type of map available that shows their (PINS)
boundries in the Laguna Madre down to Mansfield.

I posted the fact that the ICW is Federal waters because there are alot of people that don't know and like most laws just decause you don't know isn't going to keep you from getting a ticket.
