I have a 93 Jeep Cherokee and I'm interested in putting a 3" Lift Kit on it.
I called Truckers World but they want an arm and a leg.
I have heard of Spacers but I have no clue as to what that is.

Does anyone on the forum know anything about this kinda setup and the
most affordable way to do this?

Thanks in advance...

Spacers go under your rear leaf springs (kit comes with longer U-bolts) and in front go on top of your springs. Not hard to install if you have tools and good jacks.
Also you will need new new longer shocks to. Will give you a stiffer ride on the street but you'll have plenty of room for them big tires.
Complete info with pics at www.pavementsucks.com

What size tires you plan on running? My truck is raised only 2in and with 33s can just clear at full turn. I Wouldnt go any higher than you need to.

I'm running 30" BF Goodrich AT's right now and plan to keep them.
Do you think I'm ok with these?
I do want to plan a trip to PINS in the near future.

Thanks...

Look up body lifts for your Jeep, very affordable if they are made for your application.

I put a 3" suspension lift on my son's 96 jeep cherokee a while back for under $600. We bought it on line from Rough Country. Came with single leaf add-ons for rear, coils for front, transmission spacers, links, and new shocks. I had to drill a couple small holes for re-positioning brake lines and such, but it was a very easy install. Works great so far, even after him driving to North Dakota and back, and beating the heck out of it at the beach and in the mud over the past year. It's worth looking into.

Don't use spacers! Suspension lift is the best way to go.

Suspension lift is better if your looking to go off roading...but if your just looking for a little more clearance for tires or your doing it for looks, I would go with body lift...way cheaper.

Cherokee is a unibody, no such animal as a body lift for unibody.

Unless you are a crackerjack fabricator Laughing

I stopped in here today and ask the guy behind the counter if he would mind walking out into the parking lot and looking at my truck that I need some front end work done on. I know it's about $2,000.00 worth of work i need done. Here's what got me. He wanted $74.00 to walk out the front door and look at my truck. Seriously ??? He said nothing about it being waved if he did the work either. Not for me.

I know nothing about these guys but if you search under lift kits in auto parts on C----g's List San Antonio looks like pretty good pricing.
