Long story very short, they are a gift from Heaven ....believe you me.

Daughter: Dad, I saw your boat cover blow off the boat today into the canal because you put it on backwards.Shocked Embarassed

Dad: You saw me put it on the wrong way and you didn't say anything?

Daughter: I love you Daddy!!

OMG that's hilarious!

About 6 years ago when my daughter was 4, I flew out to Orlando and bought my dream sports car, in screaming yellow. Drove it home to Austin almost straight through the night, arriving the next day, late.

Next morning, I pull it out leave it of the garage, idling, pull parking brake, and come in back door.

4 year old looks out window, points at new yeller sports car, and yells OMG DADDY YOUR NEW CAR IS ROLLING.

I FMS (flip my scheet), and roll out the back door like the Tasmanian devil. Find car just quietly idling, still.

Roll back in to find my 4 y/o laughing and telling me she loves me.

Geesh.

Sounds like you're a good dad Chef.

My dad would have given me a severe tongue lashing at least and a backhanding at worst for saying that he had made a mistake, followed by a possible second round for not taking care of the problem!!!!! Shocked Embarassed Rolling Eyes

Good on ya, and keep it up pal! Cool Wink

Also, thanks for the kind works LB, and you know boys don't quite have the way do their dad's heart like the girls. Rolling Eyes

I dunno. Was shocked when I realized what she did. Now at ten, the games have been escalated. Just this past week when I was in MX, she emailed me to tell me she missed me. Next email was how many fish did you catch and are you having fun. Next email was 'have you come across anything cool that you think I'd like?'

Geesh. Dunno where she gets this from. LOL.

Heh. She's a player. But my son is far simpler. It's all about monster trucks and fishing.

I'm not terribly concerned about either passing me or not passing me. . . I just hope each finds a comfortable, happy place on this spinning orb.

Our time on it is short, gotta make the best of it.

I have to say that's a good one by the kid Frayed! Laughing

My 5 year old girl is always looking for a way to 'get you.' I do think girls are more advanced in pushing our buttons. After all they are Daddy's little girls.
