Who's interested in an led flounder light that runs off batteries and will out perform any 12 volt battery light set up? I make these, they output 300 lumens with a single super high intensity led. Runs off 4 AA batteries. Submersable up to 5 ft. Bulb never gets hot so you don't have to worry about bulb popping. Can be used in or out of the water. Entire light is 1 inch PVC. Hauling around a 12v battery is heavy and unnecessary. LEDs are the way to go. Who's interested? Message me for pics or questions.

Nice work! I made one of these a couple years back, but its pretty darn crude compared to yours. I gotta say it is really nice not having to lug a battery around on a float behind you. |

Nice work. Now how about listing your sources of the parts so each of us can build one. |

From an earlier post of his, I don't think he wants to share info. He wants to sell them. But I may be mistaken. Nice work though. |

68. Find it cheaper and I'll give you one. I'm not mass-producing theses just made extras because I had to buy supplies in bulk. I will also give you a list of supplies If you want to give it a shot on your own. I wish I would of bought the one I made. If you want to check it out I'll show it to you. |

Hey Mister, what is the price. I do not see one listed.
That thang has many possibilities.
Thanks. _________________

Here's a link to everything you need to know qabout making LED flashlights out of PVC.
http://www.trustygetto.ypsi.com/blog/blogfiles/flashlight.pdf
Use you imagination and lengthen the pipe, add a bend or two in if you like to give it balance and a handle.
Subtitute a waterproof pressure switch kit in place of the switch shown and voila - LED flounder light.
Looks like you can make onr for under $25 total.
They have plans for both a white LED and a Red LED.
The directions list all parts needed and where to source them plus a cost break down.
Cool stuff. |

If you follow those directions and use that led set up, it will be junk. I do not use that kind of led. That's old technology. Those LEDs have no output. |
