we went to the lease today check out our poacher cams,and this was out to greet us.

Wow, they are out early this year. I heard another guy found one last week around Aransas.

Luckily all we've seen so far are the drag marks. I know tho, we have two very large resident indigo's.. saw them both this hunting season , regularly around our camp.

camp pets!
some folks call indigo's "blue racers", and that's an accurrate description if you've ever had one spook and go between your legs Laughing
others call them "coachwhips" and I can see why, because my brother and I caught one many years ago and hauled it to the house to measure it. it went 8'3". it was returned to where we found it.
they prey on rattlers... there was a gent near me who had pics of the act. he put the photos in a local BBQ joint.
