My older sister's husband, Allen Norman, is loosing his 10 year battle with multiple myeloma. They live in Auburn Alabama. My BIL is one of the most generous guys I've ever known and I'm going to miss him dearly. He's had 71 years, and even in the last 10, he and my sister traveled to Alaska, Italy and the Bahamas.

They finally gave up on the chemo a couple of days ago, so that he could hopefully have some little peace for a few days more. We are heading down Thursday morning, that's as soon as we can go. He probably won't last that long, but I just pray that he's not in much pain and that when he goes, he's at peace.

Thanks guys, I truly appreciate the thoughts and prayers.

My mom just called me and said that Allen is gone. One of his supreme loves was hauling the mail in a fast boat. I hope that he's doing that now to his heart's content, with no more cancer eating away at him.

You truly are a great bunch of guys, and gals.
