Anybody have a good recipe for tartar sauce like they serve at King's Inn? I have found a few online, but they aren't quite right.

Mine looks fairly similar to the one above....

King’s Inn Tarter Sauce
Kings Inn, Kingsville Texas

Ingredients:
1 Onion, finely chopped
1 Clove Garlic, finely chopped
1 c. Dill Pickle Relish
½ c. Stuffed Green Olive, chopped
28 Ritz Crackers, crushed (most of a full roll)
5 Saltine Crackers, crushed
3 - 5 Jalapeno Peppers, finely chopped, seeds removed
Dash Curry Powder
2 c. Mayonnaise (light mayo works well)

Preparation:
Do not use an electric blender or mixer. Mix all ingredients and chill. This will stay 3 to 4 weeks in refrigerator.

Add a dash of red pepper and a tad of thousand island dressing to those.

I was shocked when I had it. It was the consistency of mashed potato salad and was not much of a sauce at all. It would be better as a dip with vegetables it was so thick.
