On sat my father in law and I were fishing the packery channel and came upon a huge school of mullet. We simplt threw out a net a pulled in about 20 we threw back most and kept what we needed for bait. Caught alot of whitting and some huge perch. Another spot we usually do good at is Humble channel. There are lot of trout and keepers. We also attempted to fish near NAS but the water is very shallow so we left. Does anyone know of any other good spots out there for drum and reds?

Pt A jetties, FishPass jetties or the surf will hold drum and reds. Also Indian Point Pier does good for big uglys when the weather is nasty like it will be this week. You may also try Bob Hall Pier. _________________ Fishing and Kayaking its a rough life but somebody has to do it. |
