stainless or ceramic balls abec7 or abec5 for a garcia 7000. Whaddaya think.

i say save the ceramic bearings for the goofball distance casting stuff and use shielded stainless for fishing applications. it would be one thing if ceramic bearings were all ceramic, but on the bearings you are gonna put in your abu, only the little ball thingies are ceramic. the other parts will still corrode, especially if you try to run the ceramic bearings dry like some distance casters. not worth the money IMO. get a sleeve of 10 stainless from VXB, or Mikes and move on down the road.

At times we found the Abec 7's running slower than the 5's.

use the stainless also check alantani.com for some great cleaning and rebuild guides
