I was told Roy's had a backup of 400+ reels to repair. If there is one, who is the second best reliable reel repair shop in the area?

I found this on Craigslist...
I have never used them but its worth a try...

Got an old rod you want to bring back to life? Got a dirty reel that needs cleaning? At C&B Custom Rod and Reel Repair in Flour Bluff, we fix dirty reels $15 for a spinning reel and $20 for a bait caster, anything over a 6/0 is $25. We also fix broken eyelets, rod tips and can do a custom wrap and add your name or anything else you might want on it, prices vary depending on size and condition of the rod. If you need any work done please call me at 361-249-1842 Chris, or drop by 1105 Cline, Flour Bluff, TX. No emails please (I have also added a few pics of my wraps.)

Drive to kingsville and see triple c's. They are cheaper and faster than Roys. Not to knock Roys or anything but I send all my reels there now and have been extremely happy with them. Not to mention they will have your reels castin halfway across the laguna. PM me if you would like there number.

I rebuild my reels, but if I was too busy Lupe would be the ONLY person to touch my $1000.00 worth of reels

We really need another reel repair option in Corpus, not a fan of Roy's or the wait myself.

My neighbor sent some reels to the guy in the T-M Annaville area and was very happy with his work and turnaround time. Also as I understand, he'll make/get lures of all types too. I don't have his # but I think he has been mentioned before. I usually do all my own cleaning and repairs but now being on this side of town, he would be alot closer than Roy's for parts.

John Chaney in Annaville.

241-5126

He does good work and you don't have to wait for your reels more than a day.

John does as good a job as I've seen in other places and he is faster and cheaper. I'm sure he would love the extra business.
