Got up this morning and the weather was so nice I figured DWD got his signals crossed again. Put in at carribean and the winds were light and the water looked nice. Managed 7 spec and one small ladyfish. Two of the specs were undersized and one was 15 inches another was 16 inches and two were 21 inches and one was 21 1/2 inches. One of the fat mamas had 2 sand trout in her belly about 7 or 8 inches long Came back in at noon, another nice morning on the water.

Nice report. Those big trout sometimes eat some big fish!
Like my grandpa always used to tell me, big bait for big fish.
I forget who, but someone last year reeled in a 23" speck in the surf with a 11" mullet in its mouth. (Could be wrong on the exact measurements of both by a little) _________________ GOBZA!!!

Caught them in about 3 ft of water using exude clear with gold flakes. They were a freebie from the shimano tournament. _________________ Fishing and Kayaking its a rough life but somebody has to do it. |
