Put in at Billings at 7am bought some high priced GOLD croakers. As I was leavn I saw Sam the Piggyman so I asked him if he had any piggyperch... he had about 40 dz 2''... small but he said I could double em. since they were small he said he'd sell em 2 for 1 so I could double em up... so I got 4 dz for the price of 2... headed south to my first honeyhole( some1 there )moved to second spot threw a dbl pig and a croaker ... nuthn on the croaker but bam a nice fat 22" trout on the pigs after that I caught 6 more nice trout and three nice reds all on double piggies cept for 1 big red on a croaker. Wish id seen the Piggy man before I bought those pricey croakers..anyhow he said he'd be around the jfk bridge every weekend when the piggies get a little bigger... said they would be about $5 or $6 dz. beats the heck outta $8. A great day on the water!! |

| Yep who is the piggy man does he have a #### to call him and what is the best way to keep them and croakers alive? I have a live well on the boat with a pump that circulates the water and pulls air in and put it in the water and i also have a pump that can bring in new water. would this work??????? I don't know jack about bay fishing. But i don't want to spend 8.00 a doz and have dead bait when i open the lid. |

this should do fine, jus make sure to baby the croakers, use a bait net to get'em out of the live well, and make sure freshwater is always getting pumped in with lots of oxygen...try not to have a bumpy ride either as croaker pretty fragile |

| I talked to the piggy man the other day. He said he would give me his new # when he gets it. He also said he would be easy to find when he's got pigs. He'll be near the jfk bridge flying a bait flag on his boat. Also u,ll prolly see a stack of red perch traps on the front of the boat. I'll post the # when I get it from him. |
