Looking for someone that can shoot good video. I mean a lot better then me. That would trade shooting some video for offshore fishing trips. I have a boat and plenty of crew that always wants to go but I need someone that can shoot video. I would like to start recording some of these fishing trips. I would like to find someone with at least some formal training in shooting video. I have had to many great trips that I would like some permanent record of. Something to watch when I am to old to go and to fat to fit in my swim trunks and t-shirt.
The boat is around 30 feet. It is a mako 263/293. last year was my year to trouble shoot it. This year I believe I just finished up the last of the work.
It is comfortable with a lot of shade. It has a good ride and and we find fish.
Anyway all you would have to do is do some filming to earn your keep. Help wash the boat when we get back that kind of stuff. You would get to fish and catch your limits (if the fish are in the dieing mood). Then do some filming.
I keep beer drinking to a minimum till we are back at the house cleaning the fish and the boat.
I have a sony HDR FX1 camera and a smaller one I plan to put a underwater housing on(one of my crew dives and wants to jump in the water and shoot film of fish being caught).
If you are interested shoot me and e-mail.
I am a Teacher So I do a lot of fishing on the weekdays in the summer....but still some weekends if the seas are nice.
I like fishing ones and two's but will go up to 3's the boat rides fine in them.
No hand held gps allowed....besides my emergency one.

P.S. My wife and some of her friends fish regularly on my boat. So gentlemanly behavior is a requirement. _________________ michael |

What is the smaller camera you are getting underwater housing for, Just picked up a Canon 7D a few months ago and the video on this thing is amazing. Highly recommended it for anyone wanting to shoot good quality footage, Have been looking into getting a underwater housing as I want to dive with it but they can get costly.
I mostly shoot footage at Bob Hall and have a few videos to put together pretty soon which I will post soon. |

Known him for years, we work as a team sometimes doing photo/vidio jobs, he does not fish but he might work a deal of some kind, he routinely does work for local buiness comercials and discovery channel.
maybe he can use the footage and you both win!
call him, either you work a deal or you don't. never know till ya try, |
