Anybody driven the road to Deadman's Hole lately?
Thinking about trying my luck with a quick trip down this weekend.
Last time I was down(2 weeks ago), I waded north of deadman's close to fish pass. The grass flats along the shore line looked like they'd taken a beating this winter. One particular patch of grass (about two football fields worth), that I have good luck at, was completely gone. I've been fishing there for a few years and never seen the grass die back so dramatically.
Will that grass recover quickly or should I give it a year and go look for another place to stalk big trout? _________________ I don't run 'cause it makes me tired. I don't lift weights 'cause they're heavy. -Charles Barkley |
