A quick word about using pressurized air for anything from drying reels off to cleaning your keyboard....from a very wise man....

That air will push liquids into places that cannot be reached without a rebuild or junking the unit.

Been using compressed air on my reels for over forty years, no problems, I do tear them down every so often to clean, grease and oil as needed.

Now keyboards are a whole different story, I would hope you don't have anything liquid that could be forced deeper into your keyboard.

I loosen my drag before I leave the water to let the drag material dry. Tighten up the drag when I get home and lightly rinse them with the hose. Then loosen drag up again to dry. Oil and grease when needed. Breakdown and clean after a few coastal trips. If I completely dunk in saltwater rinse off with fresh water on beach complete clean and breakdown that night. Heck when I get really bored I'll do the same to my fresh water reels once a year(they also get dirty). And don't forget to rinse and wipe down your rods too.

I always rinse my rod and reels off with the water hose. I will also take a wet towel and wipe both of the down to get the white film off... I let them dry overnight and the next day I will oil and grease as needed... Oh yeah, and I back the drags off as well..
