google ads man. Tyler has no control over what ads rotate. Normally it actually has something to do with what sites the VIEWER has recently visited and it targets that based on your cookies and what you search for. sometimes its just random. Bandwidth isn't free and neither are servers. Advertising has to pay for it. if you don't like the advertiser or advertisement don't look at it.. its the Internet its not like you haven't seen anything offensive on accident before. If you cant handle it pull the plug and power it off because you cant get rid of it all.

I may be wrong... but, if you can capture the data of the offending ad, Tyler can block it.

I never said you where offended. I was simply replying. I run a few forums. And I run a business and know a few things about online marketing and advertising and I was simply stating the facts. I'm pretty sure Tyler has a thread about it as well called privacy in the main forum.

Sorry If I was harsh about it. I don't mean to be snappy I guess its just the IT guy in me coming out.

firefox+addblockplus and you'll not very many banner ads at all Smile I think you can even set it up so that the image gets downloaded and silently thrown away, that way the advertisers still get their count.

didn't Tyler just start an "Off-Topic" forum for concerns like this? I don't see any fish pictures in this thread.
