Fished at the #12 water was clear with no new weed.
Driving was fair, water was chilly, seen ole lopped ear
at the #10. Hooked up with a 17"-18" sheepshead,
several large whiting, and a 20" permit fish all caught
on dead shrimp. Digonme and i will be headed down
next weekend, what is the driving cond. past the 20#.

Your permit fish was probably a pompano. Old Salt tells me it was okay until the 20 and bad there through Big Shell. Weed was fishable.

Pompano. Nice report.

Not much yellow, though there is a small little patch at the bottom of the tail fin. But not much! Wink

Yep...its a pomp. I've seen them both with the yellow, and without on their tails. Good fish there, WD. It'll make for an excellent meal. Thanks for the report.
