I grew up and remain afraid of heights....Even looking down into the Grand Canyon, or going up a two story mall escalator I nearly faint...But going out deep sea-fishing I've never had sea-sickness....
Anyone else experience the same? |

Welcome to the board, newbie! .... This site is one of the best! ....
I remember visiting the Austion Capitol state building around 1983...I cried on the second floor when i was at the railing....When my head looked up, towards the dome, my heart sank into my stomach, my legs turned into jello and I nearly blacked out.....
But when out fishing on a barge, knowing I'm willing to plunge into deep depths if the boat sinks, I am FINE!!!!
It's a weird feeling! |

Yeah I see your point. But when dealing with water, you don't have that THUMP at the bottom. _________________ You can get much farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.
