Thanks for the fishing report. Keep good records of what you caught, when, and where you caught them so that you can re-use that information next year.
If your dog chewed your USB cable for connecting you camera, you can alway use a card reader instead. I just pull the memory card out of the the camera and plug it into the pc card reader. Even my printer has a card reader. After I insert the camera card into the printer, I can see the contents of the card through the computer and I can transer them that way.
The day after Thanksgiving I cooked a batch of Drum and a batch of Reds for the remaining guests that had not left yet. I kept the 2 fillet types separated and asked everyone to give me their opinion (blind test). The overwhelming winner for taste and texture was Drum! That has given me a much more different outlook at Drum. Enjoy yours! _________________ HighTide

I was out saturday morning and not a nibble. The live shrimp I bought just looked like they were in shock. Nothing on a gulp! _________________ Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience. |

| I am glad someone caught something on Sat. I did not get a bite. It was real cold, and I think me feet went numb in about 40 minutes. |

Drum are great eating to be sure. I still like reds a bit better. . . I guess its the slightly stronger flavor.
Funny thing is, everyone in my family picks reds over trout, drum, and *egads* even flounder. _________________ Jeff

Thank goodness someone posted a fishing report.
I've been having withdrawls from not fishing or reading about it because I'm super swamped at work.
And it was nice reading the replies from others that didn't catch.
I'm glad you're still getting out there.
Thanks for the report. |

That's funny. I was on PINS a week before and caught several reds and drum. Those that ate both said the drum was better too... and the redfish was great. I could have sworn the last drum I got wasn't that good. |

according the poll archives area on this site flounder is by far the best tasting then trout then red then black drum... according to the poll on this site and I guess I agree with it 100 percent...any ways nicw fish I wish I got out and fished more than I do... plus it was way too cold for me... I gave my jacket to a person that needed it more than I did... but way to preserveer and limit out... _________________ DONT MESS WITH TEXAS AND YOU WILL CATCH MORE FISH!!! |
