When that happens they will hit anything you throw at them. Green cocahoes on a lead head jig work great.

When a school of reds go into a feeding frenzy along the dam area, you can see the bait boiling and jumping out of the water. It is noisy. Scared me the first time I saw it after sundown one evening.

Go to the dam area. Use live tilapia or perch for bait. Carolina rig is ok. O
n the east side of the dam count 3 light poles from the edge and you will be fishing a flat leading to a drop off.

Boat Hole looks like brown tide. Can't see the bottom from knee deep near Dimmit.
