It is a consumer small sony model. It shoots very clear video and it is honestly hard to tell the picture quality from the HDR FX1 unless I am using the HDR FX1 in high definition.

About an hour and a half to get to the spot. Caught limits of red snapper from about 18 inches to 25 inches or so for 5 in a record breaking 45 minutes or so.
Then cruised the boat back.
