It is. Supposedly it only survived by wire. Saw it after Hanna hit and it was upside down facing the condos, but still working, LOL. The one on St, Augustine made it through...facing the storm straigh ...

I like Penn GS series. I have 525 through 555. I would say the 535 would be about equivalent to the Sqidder. Really casts well!!

We passed the dredge ship on the way offshore and back the week of the 4th, and yes it was depositing material parallel to the beach maybe a mile to 2 miles offshore,

2 things that will really help throwing a net is try to "twirl" it when you release, and don't throw hard. Just a nice easy spin and it will open right up.

I've been happy with my Panga Marine Marquesas, and you see a few around. Not super shallow, but does well offshore.
