Oh and the reason I'm taking my 25LW apart and doing a clean/oil is because it seems like it has some friction going on... perhaps that's a sign though.

The falcon coastal is a pretty nice rod. My buddy has the 7'6" medium fast and I was impressed with it's sensitivity and casting. I'm a big fan of curados. The exchange here on base has the 200g7 ...
