If away from your first aid kit just rub some beach mud on it. That seems to stop the sting somewhat until you can get a better remedy.

I had a friend that died of a heart attack the day after time change and his wife said the risk increases because of it. First time I had heard such a thing but I guess there is some evidence of it.
