| It does work. When I was a kid that is how we kept shrimp bought at bait shops in Brownsville and Port Isabel during the 50's. So it's been around a long time. |

| Meat tenderizer definitely doesn't work. Hot water applied for a while helps. The drug store sells something for this type of sting, but fortunately I haven't had to try it yet. |
