I ordered some 7" tuna poppers from Alibaba the day after we got back to target these big trout and the monster bull reds. I will be fishing all day for that one bite.

Well, my buddy and I ended up finding a fish of a lifetime, a 31" speckled trout, and it was the biggest trout either of us has seen by far. Here is the video of what happened:

Thanks! I mainly practice catch and release, especially on the larger fish like that. I will keep fish every once and a while if I am going to eat them that night.

I am going to have to get me some twitch baits to try when the topwater bite dies down. Plus I think it should increase the hookup ration.
