I have a chance to come to Corpus this weekend. I was wondering if anything is biting around the jetties now. I haven't seen any posts lately about the jettys - either port a or fish pass.
I know last fall there was a lot of fish in the surf and jetty fishing was good - how is it now in early spring??? Is it a case of cold weather or is there just less fish in the surf now???
thanks in advance, any info will help me make a decision to make the 2 hr trip or not... |

"PORT ARANSAS -- Black drum are fair to good on the drop-offs near the Intracoastal on crabs and peeled shrimp. Redfish are good at the end of the jetty on crabs, shrimp and mullet." _________________ "I just got a new fly-fishing rod and reel for my wife. It was the best trade I've ever made!" |
