All you pros....what day, in your opinion, will be the best day(s) to come to CC/Port A area this next week. Species don't matter too much; just would like to catch something. Surf, piers, ICW around JFK or jetty?Do not plan to bring boat...just try to relax a little and get my string stretched - hopefully!! Thanks a bunch. |

bobaloo,
Though I haven't seen anybody reporting them, I imagine the sheepshead at the Port A jetties should be turning on right now. Catch em on all kind of baits, live shrimp, ghost shrimp, even fresh oyster.
Some of the piers near the Port A ferry landing should be good for flounder. Check out Robert Points pier (cast and drag near the rocks) and Charlie Pastuers pier. Good luck.
