It depends on how strong the north winds are. It will most likely make the water muddy which means bye bye to spanish mackerel, trout, jacks, and other sight feeders. The current will be ripping to the south as well. I would think that with some work you could catch bull reds and keeper reds on cut bait. Whiting on shrimp etc.
Those of us who live here usually stay home in weather like that.

Thanks Tyler. I am from Devine. Headed to Floresville to watch my son and the Warhorses take on the Goliad Tigers tonight in the first round of the playoffs, then to our house on the Island and I was hoping some good fishing Saturday on the PINS. I am still going, I just won't expect too much. I'll be in a black Ford double cab diesel if any of you guys wanna say hello. Probably be around the 10 mile mark.

You may want to bring your bay stuff. The bay fishing should be really good by Sunday morning.....

Falling tides and cold weather .... find some deeper spots in the flats or work drains into channels. The big reds are in the bay, not to mention teh flounder. I got a report this morning from Capt Dean Thomas. He and a buddy landed a 33" and 2 30" reds on Tuesday....
