Water clarity in the Laguna?

Anybody have any clues why the water is so dingy in the upper Laguna? I fish most every day and noticed the water has been a dingy green for the last week or so. At first I thought it was from all the wind before/after the front but it's still off color today. It looks like some sort of plankton growth is suspended in the water. Sure hope it's not the Brown tide again!!!!

Personally I think it looks damm good. No threat of that till summer.
