Hey y'all,
I'm going to be in Corpus for a Conference March 19-23 and would like to sneak away a couple of days to do some fishing. Anything going happening off-shore that time of year? If I'm stuck on land, how is fishing off the pier (Bob Hall?) then, and what kinds of finny critters are around then? I appreciate any and all help. I've been in Texas 6 years now (after 28 in Alaska) and I need to get back in the big salty.
Thanks,
Matt

I'm not much on the offshore fishing but in the bays big trout are still active, usually on the bay side of spoil islands, etc. Redfish will be moving back up shallow with the usual bull tides. Wind will be a factor.
