Libby Averyt should be considered for the Dumb Blone of the Year Award. I just read her article against the people who want the beaches left open. According to her if you want the beaches open you are a biggot, always in trouble with the FBI and commit incest. Evil or Very Mad

I notice that she is the editor and vice president of the caller times. I wonder is she is trying to get Mr Schexnailder between her legs or is he already there? Very Happy

Rabbit, what do you expect from a liberal newspaper? For a newspaper to be as liberal as the caller times you know the people running it have to be really liberal. I strongly think there is no overseas "5 star" investor and that Schexnailder is jsut trying to screw the city over again. He suckered them into selling bonds to dredge packery promosing to buy most of them and then once he knew the bond issue passed he said he wans't going to buy any bonds so he got packery dredge for free. He shut down the Laundry deal on the waterfront because he didn't want competition and now he is getting his private beach for free. If there was a developer of "5 star" quality then that devloper would come forward with their name for advertisment. Schexnailder doesn't have the money to do what he wants, he is just getting his private beach. I'm sure Mark Scott in 5 or 10 years from now will all of a sudden land a VP job at this resort or something simular. They say they didn't know this development was being planned. Come on Mr. Scott, it is in your district and you don't even know what is going on. If I was a councilman and someone was planning a 1.5 billion dollar resort in my district I would know about it. Anyway, I still recommend recall petitions along side petitions to put the beach closure to a vote. And, a question I still have not received an answer on is why this resort can only be built if vehicles are prohibited from the beach? No part of the resort will be on the beach. I do know the answer though, SO THEY CAN FREAKING PRIVATIZE THE BEACH.

What happened to the resort that was supposed to be built on the west side of Packery Channel? Lots of talk about it before the channel was dredged but now nothing on it!
