We at CCCTKF just put up a fishing line recycle bin on Bob Hall pier. If you have any old line take it out and drop it of. All we ask is you take the hooks and lead off. |

Requirement of being a chapter of TKF (www.texaskayakfisherman.com) is to do community projects. We along with the Aransas Pass chapter have these set up to collect used fishing line to be recycled instead of being thrown in the water or trash.
We also do a trash pick-up to. Last one was at Packery Channel park.
Its all good. _________________ Fish hard, fish the Bluff. Surrounded by water!

Discarded fishing line kills birds and marine animals. |

Man that is an awesome idea. When so you all schedule beach clean up projects? Being in SA I miss out alot on stuff like that. If I could get some sort of schedule, I would like to participate -- the beach gives me alot of enjoyment and I would like to pay her back!! Thanks. _________________ "I don't wanna live on that kind of island, no I don't wanna swim in a roped off sea. Heres a pic of the bin, urge all to drop off all your used line here. Its at BHP, should not have to pay entry fee just to drop off some line.
Thanks for all who participate.
